Thing’s couldn’t be tighter at the bottom of the Men's Division 2 North, Norwich Spikers and Nottingham Rockets are separated only by set difference. Norwich’s 3-0 victory against Nottingham could prove pivotal in the battle for survival. However, Nottingham’s tense 3-2 victory against an in-form York team has ensured the race to stay in the league will go down to the bitter end.  At the top, the former four horse race is over as Miners Doncaster have pulled two points clear of their nearest rival with games in hand, and just need to fulfil their fixtures to be crowned champions!

The race for the title in the Men’s Division 2 North continues to be nail-biting as the four teams scrap it out at the top. There was a big shock as the University of Nottingham, lost to two mid-table sides this month in Melton Lions and Manchester Marvels, which cost them taking back top spot. They now lie third on 31 points, two behind leaders DARKSTAR Derbyshire who recorded two victories this month.

Stockport Volleyball Club sit fourth on 31 points too so are well in the chase after notching another win this month. The current favourites for the title are Miners Doncaster who are in second on 31 points too but have two games in hand on the other three. They underlined their credentials by adding four notches to the win column this month, including an impressive 3-1 defeat of rivals Stockport.
